Yes. The Recommender Packet is designed specifically to be respectful, optional, and easy to navigate. It does not tell recommenders what to write or how to evaluate you. Instead, it provides logistics and context so they can focus on writing a strong letter if they choose.

No. Each section is optional. You’re encouraged to remove anything that isn’t relevant before sharing the packet. A shorter, well-curated packet is often more effective than a comprehensive one.

The tools are designed primarily for MBA applicants, but many are transferable to part-time, evening, executive MBA, and other graduate programs. The Recommender Packet can be used with both Google and Microsoft products. The Application Master Calendar and Essay Tracker are also dually compatible, but you’ll likely get the best experience with Google Sheets.
